Thursday's quiz question for my two Intro to Philosophy classes was a fill in the blank question based on a phrase by J. S. Mill. "Better to be a dissatisfied human than a happy pig, better to be a dissatisfied (what) than a happy (what). (I am just going on my rough memory of the phrase in case it doesn't match Mill's text exactly.)
My quiz for the Thursday night TBG course was: who won the Ms. America Pageant in 2012?
But more to the point concerns the issue of what you think about such contests? Are they fair measurements of real beauty?
