Ancient and Medieval Philosophy evening
This evening for Ancient and Medieval Philosophy we first discussed Christianity's beginnings and then Saint Augustine. Several videos are posted here and here. The quiz question was does covering this material make you anxious? The second quiz question was do you think the song You have to look on the bright side of life is essentially the Christian world view?

1. This material Does not make me anxious, Yes I am Protestant that converted to Catholicism for my wife I did that for her. I am also a realist and an educated man whom believe in science and truth and I recognize the difference between dogma meant to tell a story of how one should live and actual events in that telling in history.
ReplyDelete2.In an purely practical since yes. the song follows an upbeat message of faith to face trials and tribulation in the darker sides of life. However, not all christen faiths will agree for they're christen are traditions different to so many different faiths, orthodoxies and non-cultural similarities in practices of christen faiths.
